About me

Social media is a great opportunity for brands looking to grow. For companies competing for attention against better funded, better known adversaries, social media levels the playing field.

I operate a leading social media marketing agency in Vancouver. Do you have a vision? I will help you make it a reality.

Own your audience: unlike traditional advertising, social platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn ensure that even small companies have an opportunity to compete successfully against larger, better known brands. That's because the opportunity to engage audiences is equal.

With the right software, developing an audience on social media is not difficult. We coded our own approach exactly for this purpose: building solid audiences.

We use tactics borrowed from the competitive world of the equity markets to sharpen the competitive edge of our clients. Social media is smart media. Get the advantage of social.

Managing Director
SKY Alphabet Social Media Inc.
September 2011 - Present (7 years 4 months)
SKY Alphabet Social Media is a social media marketing agency. We implement marketing strategies that lead to top market positions. We are Twitter specialists - a rare breed. Follow us @skyalphabet

We implement comprehensive content strategies. We write and curate content that appears across all social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) so that our clients build and fortify top market positions.

Our campaigns roll out across all social platforms with a strong side of data. We compile Twitter intelligence databases to understand things such as who uses certain hashtags such as #onpoli #investmentbanking or #CRE. This is valuable information.

We roll up our sleeves to get things done with exacting standards. We always collaborate and thrive in unstructured environments. We go with the flow and use whatever resources we have to get the best job done.

VP Marketing
Lionsgate Entertainment
1996 - 1999 (3 years)
Prior to accepting the position as VP, Marketing and Communications at Lions Gate, I was retained as an IPO consultant by Frank Giustra. For about a year leading up to the IPO, I handled all of the investor messaging and grassroots marketing, building the new brand with the film community and our new partners. The first job of building any new public company from scratch is to create an aura about the company's goals, mission, and long-term vision. LionsGate had generous amounts of all three. Once I was an employee (#4) I wrote the annual report, helped the company through a reverse IPO and worked with our new film distribution and production units to ensure everyone had the information and messaging to be successful.
