Story | The One Book brought together the teachings of both the Koran and the Bible to show how similar they are. Messages of peace, love and hope were printed side by side. The book was sent to influential figures around the globe, but everyone could experience it via a website. The One Book is a small but significant attempt to bring two great religions closer together. The book was even the impetus for the first inter-faith prayer since the end of the Bosnian war. What to the Bible and the Koran have in common? A great deal, suggests this project, which brought texts from both together to demonstrate how much they have in common. So why can't these two great religions come closer together too? |
