I’m a Criminal tells the real-life story of 13-year-old Angelica who was sent to jail in 2021 for attempting to escape her arranged marriage. Every year in Mexico, over 300,000 girls share Angelica’s fate. Our film shows it bluntly and encourages viewers to support Girls Not Brides—an organisation that supports victims. |
