Kolby Slocum

Executive Producer / Head of Production VML New York at VML
Greater New York City Area, United States

About me

I like to create things. I like to problem solve. My job is to protect the idea. My job is to always find a way.

As the line between traditional production and digital continues to blur, the need for a producer comfortable in broadcast, digital, and experiential becomes even more crucial for successful content creation and storytelling.

I'm a hands-on creative content producer equipped with a comprehensive media production background and strong managerial skills. I perform effectively in concurrent roles, such as producer, director, and project manager.

I apply exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work with and foster cooperative efforts between brand managers and creative teams. I thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments where I leverage my experience in live television and breaking news to make sound, accurate decisions without hesitation.

I received my BFA from New York University – Tisch School of the Arts where I was the recipient of the Lew Wasserman MCA Fellowship.
