Brief | On the occasion of the 1st of October, International Day of Older Persons and the first day of the last quarter of the year, Petits Frères des Pauvres "hacked" the daily life of the French: removing the last quarter of a staircase, a football match, a magazine cover… A radio spot, influence, PR and social media section completed the system. |
Story | Imagine, from the 1st of October to the 31st of December, being deprived of all links. No more family, no more friends, no more neighbours, no more telephone, no more social networks...It seems unbearable, even impossible? And yet this is the harsh reality that 1 million isolated elderly people live.An isolated elderly person is a person deprived of social ties, an essential need in life, just like food and shelter.Statistically, at the age of 60, the last quarter of life begins. An isolated elderly person is therefore deprived of the last quarter of his or her life.On the 1st of October, International Day of Older Persons, Les Petits Frères des Pauvres wishes to raise awareness on the isolation of older people. |
