Story Custom-made t-shirts, designed for premature babies, who are born at less than 1 pound, were silk-screened with the message "HELP". An attached tag, provided the detail for the annual Walk America fundraising campaign.
Philosophy We thought that to illustrate how small these babies really are we would bring the message home with impact, by using the premie t-shirts. (The shirts are so small they fit in the palm of your hand)
Problem People simply don't understand the hurdles that premature babie face, blindness, retardation and respiratory problems. In order to raise maximum funds we needed to get peoples attention.
Result A 10% increase in funds raised over the prior year.
